CPID Kicks off 300 MW Source-Grid-Load-Storage Integrated Project in Xinjiang

Recently, CPID held a groundbreaking ceremony for its 300 MW source-grid-load-storage integrated PV project in Hutubi County, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The project marks CPID's new breakthrough in the development of source-grid-load-storage integrated projects in China's northwest region with rich solar energy resource.

The project will make full use of the rich solar energy resources in the region, and has a 300 MW PV power generation system integrating power source, power grid, power load and energy storage, equipped with 30 MW/60 MWh energy storage facilities on the source side. The project will greatly meet the electricity demand of the high-tech manufacturing industry, supplying about 570 GWh of green electricity to enterprises in the Hutubi PV Industrial Park and saving 125,100 tons of standard coal every year.

The project is one of the second batch of market-based grid-connected new energy projects planned by Xinjiang in 2022 and the first source-grid-load-storage integrated PV project in Hutubi County, and will give full play to CPID's advantages in green and low-carbon clean energy and help Hutubi County optimize its industrial structure and foster new economic growth drivers.
