CPID Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Changchun Municipal Government

On September 17, 2022, Mr. He Xi, Chairman of CPID and Chief Engineer (New Energy) of SPIC, met virtually with Mr. Zhang Zhijun, Member of the Standing Committee of Jilin Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of Changchun Municipal Party Committee, and witnessed the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement between Changchun Municipal Government and CPID.

Mr. He delivered a speech and expressed his gratitude to Changchun Municipal Government for the strong support to SPIC and CPID. Mr. He said that CPID had attached great importance to the cooperation with Changchun, the signing of the agreement was a good start for both sides to carry out all-round, multi-dimensional and wide-area exchanges and cooperation and also provided an important opportunity for CPID to accelerate the implementation of new strategies, and CPID would take this opportunity to support Changchun in accelerating green and low-carbon development, rural revitalization, and transition and upgrading of upstream and downstream industries of new energy equipment manufacturing, so as to achieve win-win cooperation between enterprises and localities.

Mr. Zhang spoke highly of the support given by CPID to Changchun's development, and hoped that the signing of the agreement would be an opportunity to bring into play CPID's unique advantages in new energy and independent innovation, boost the development of Changchun as a demonstration city for the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, and strengthen cooperation in new materials, new infrastructure and rural revitalization. Mr. Zhang expressed that Changchun City would provide a first-class business environment and dedicated services, and strive for the early implementation of projects.
