Qiuping Wind Farm Completes Blade Extension Transformation

Recently, Guangxi Power Generation Company successfully completed the blade extension transformation of 25 wind turbines in Qiuping Wind Farm, injecting strong energy for the company's annual quality and efficiency goals.

In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, construction difficulties in rainy season, and frequent extreme weather conditions in summer, the company organized special meetings to comprehensively protect construction safety and reasonably control the construction period by optimizing the construction process, human resources allocation, material supply, etc. In addition, by virtue of the wind power prediction system and other information available, the company made full use of the breeze window period to ensure the high-quality completion of the project.

After the transformation, the power of the wind turbines increases the most significantly in the wind speed range between 5 m/s and 10 m/s, with the power generation efficiency further improved in the low wind speed range and the overall energy production increased by more than 5%, bringing new vitality to the old wind turbines.
