Recently, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Hainan Province commended Qionghai Power Generation Company in writing, fully affirming the company's proactive and courageous performance in COVID-19 prevention and control in Hainan, and giving the company a notification of commendation and additional points in the annual environmental credit evaluation.

Recently, the company resolutely took up its social responsibility and acted on orders, always focusing on the general situation of the COVID-19 prevention and control and firmly holding the position. The company optimized the waste disposal process, completing daily disposal of epidemic-related wastes, effectively alleviating the pressure on the Government of Hainan Province during the pandemic, demonstrating the responsibility and commitment of an enterprise directly under the Central Government in Hainan Province.

Up to now, the company has disposed of a total of 361.67 tons of medical wastes and epidemic-related garbage, while achieving zero infection and zero close-contact of the employees on duty, with the COVID-19 prevention and control work kept stable and under control.
