Qingshuijiang Multi-Energy Hybrid Power Generation Base Project Makes Key Progress

Recently, Wuling Power Generation Company has successfully passed the review of the Report on Grid Connection Design of Dajia, Jiuchao and Qingshanjie PV Power Stations at Qingshuijiang Multi-Energy Hybrid Power Generation Base.

Located in Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province, the base has a planned new energy capacity of 800 MW, including 350 MW of PV power and 450 MW of wind power, with the first phase of 350 MW PV power generation facilities and transmission grid to be completed in 2022. The base extends across the border between Hunan and Guizhou provinces, involving both the SGCC and CSG grids, and is the first 500 kV grid-connected and directly dispatched new energy project of the Central China Power Dispatch Center.

The base can improve the utilization of the existing transmission system, give full play to the multi-year regulation performance of Sanbanxi Reservoir, and realize the integration of water, wind and solar hybrid power generation. In the multi-energy hybrid power generation mode, the base will have its overall benefit significantly improved, helping Wuling Power Generation Company accelerate the implementation of its high-quality development strategy.
