Qiyuan Awarded the Advanced Member Enterprise 2021-2022 by CEC
Qiyuan Core Power Co., Ltd. (Qiyuan) was recently awarded the Advanced Member Enterprise 2021-2022 by China Electricity Council (CEC).
A total of 1,009 CEC members joined the appraisal, and Qiyuan was selected as one of the 11 advanced member enterprises in the category of power energy efficiency, environmental protection and climate change response after preliminary examination, evaluation by professional evaluation group, validation by the appraisal committee and public announcement. This category aims to recognize enterprises that have made outstanding contributions in energy efficiency, environmental protection, climate change response, development of national energy conservation and environmental protection policies, and the construction of carbon markets.
By the end of December 2022, Qiyuan had more than 200 battery swap stations (in operation and under construction), which can consume more than 2,880 GWh of electricity and reduce CO2 emissions by more than 2.2 million tons/year. As the largest energy service provider for green electric transportation in China, Qiyuan has been working closely with its ecosystem partners to promote the development of nearly 30 national, industrial, group, corporate, and local standards. In addition, Qiyuan has been supporting the construction of the national carbon market, and has gained rich experience in empowering enterprises to make profits in the carbon trading market. In Ningxia, through the integrated source-grid-load-storage solution, Qiyuan built direct-supply PV power stations to help power plants make more than one million RMB yuan in carbon trading.
In the future, Qiyuan will, as always, promote green development, support China's carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, and provide solutions to the low-carbon energy transition of the transportation sector.
