Mr. Gao Ping Meets with Mr. Guo Hong'en, General Manager of SPIC NE

On February 21, 2023, Mr. Gao Ping, Executive Director and President of CPID, met with Mr. Guo Hong'en, Director and General Manager of SPIC NE. Mr. Lv Keqi, Vice President of CPID, and Mr. Zou Jiamao, Deputy General Manager of SPIC NE, attended the meeting.

Mr. Gao welcomed Mr. Guo and his delegation, and introduced the overall situation of CPID's strategic transformation, as well as CPID's achievements in clean energy and other emerging industries. Mr. Gao said that the nuclear power sector of SPIC was facing an opportunity of rapid development, and CPID has a broad space for cooperation with SPIC NE in operation and maintenance (O&M) of nuclear power assets. CPID has rich experience in O&M of thermal power assets and maintenance of nuclear and conventional islands, and will strengthen cooperation with SPIC NE to support the nuclear power strategy of SPIC.

Mr. Guo thanked CPID for its long-term support to SPIC NE, highly praised the work done by CPID's nuclear power maintenance teams, and expressed his appreciation for CPID's achievements in transition and development in recent years. Mr. Guo introduced the functional role of SPIC NE as well as SPIC's nuclear power development plan and overhaul center plan, hoping that both sides would strengthen cooperation in nuclear power overhaul and integrated development of nuclear power, wind power, solar power and energy storage.
