Changshu Power Generation Company Wins Title of "2022 Advanced Collective in Ecological Civilization Construction".

Recently, at the 2023 Work Safety and Ecological Civilization Construction Conference of Changshu Economic Development Zone and the Commendation Conference for Pollution Prevention and Control, Changshu Power Generation Company was honored again as an advanced collective for ecological civilization construction in 2022, which is the sixth time in the past ten years that the company has won this honor.

The year 2022 was a particularly challenging and extraordinary year, with rising power generation load, increasingly stringent emission reduction requirements, changing coal quality, and huge challenges in flue gas treatment. The company withstood the pressure and maintained a downward trend in air pollutant emissions throughout the year, making outstanding contributions to ecological and environmental protection.

In recent years, the company has made continuous efforts in air pollution control, wastewater emission reduction, comprehensive utilization of solid waste, and dust prevention and control of wharf, to increase the effectiveness of energy conservation and emission reduction and take a solid step towards green, circular and low-carbon development around CPID's vision of building a world-class green and low-carbon energy supplier.
