Qiyuan Beibu Gulf Battery Swapping Stations Start Network Operation

Recently, Qiyuan Core Power, the green electric transportation segment of China Power International Development Limited (China Power or CPID, stock code: 02380.HK), officially put into network operation the five battery swapping stations in Guangxi including Dongwan Avenue Station in Fangchenggang, Jingang Avenue Station in Qinzhou, Shangsi Station, Ningming Station, and Shanglong Avenue Station in Fusui, with an efficient clean and green transportation link of up to 190 km.

The five battery swapping stations for heavy-duty trucks are all of Green Island 800 type, supporting fully automatic unmanned battery swapping. A mobile phone can scan the code to complete battery swapping in 3-5 minutes, saving nearly an hour compared with charging. Each station can provide battery swapping for 50 SPIC-standard heavy-duty trucks, with powerful energy to help the local construction of a green and clean transportation system.

In addition to the Beibu Gulf battery swapping network, Qiyuan has laid out and completed the Wuxuan-Guigang battery swapping network and Hezhou-Wuzhou battery swapping network in Guangxi; meanwhile, Qiyuan has built the first aluminum ore transportation demonstration line in Baise, with Debao No.1 Battery Swapping Station and Jingxi No.1 Battery Swapping Station in Baise jointly providing battery swapping for 60 heavy-duty trucks. The daily battery swapping has repeatedly hit a peak since their operation.

According to statistics, Qiyuan has built or is building more than 10 battery swapping stations for heavy-duty trucks in Guangxi, and has completed the electrification of about 300 diesel heavy-duty trucks, which can save about 14.85 million liters of diesel fuel (330 days a year and 300 km per truck each day), equivalent to a reduction of CO2 emissions of about 40,540 tons.

In the future, Qiyuan will continue to lay out the Beibu Gulf-Nanning-Baise transportation line and other networking projects and create an efficient, zero-carbon intra-regional three-dimensional green transportation corridor, linking local specialty industrial parks for mineral raw materials, coal, sand and gravel materials, sugar and wood, and helping the Beibu Gulf to build into an important economic growth pole along the coast of China.
