CPID Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Cangzhou Port Group

On April 16, 2023, Mr. He Xi, Chief Engineer (New Energy) of SPIC and Chairman of CPID, met with Mr. Wang Baohui, Director of Huanghua Port Authority and Chairman of Cangzhou Port Group, and his delegation at CPID's headquarters. Mr. Zhao Yonggang, Vice President of CPID, and Mr. Li Hongzhou, Deputy General Manager of Cangzhou Port Group, attended the meeting and signed a strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of their respective sides.

Mr. He expressed welcome Mr. Wang and his delegation, and introduced CPID's achievements in clean energy and green energy emerging industries by actively implementing China's carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals. Mr. He said that Huanghua Port has rich shoreline resources, sufficient land area reserves, outstanding hinterland advantages and complete industrial support, and CPID is willing to give full play to its advantages in capital, technology, brand and management and carry out all-round strategic cooperation with Cangzhou Port Group in the fields of offshore wind power, integrated smart energy, centralized wind power, PV power and low-carbon and zero-carbon demonstration parks.

Mr. Wang expressed his gratitude to CPID for its warm reception, and introduced the basic situation of Huanghua Port and the plan of Cangzhou Port Group for new energy project development. Mr. Wang said that he hoped to take the signing of agreement as a starting point to strengthen communication and exchange, establish a solid cooperation and development mechanism, jointly carry out all-round cooperation in resources, science and technology and industry, explore a new mode of cooperation in line with the development strategy of both sides, and promote mutual benefits and win-win situation for both sides.

With the principle of "strong collaboration, complementary advantages, market orientation, mutual benefit and win-win", both sides will bring into play their respective advantages, integrate relevant resources, actively cooperate in all aspects of clean energy development and utilization, low-carbon and zero-carbon park construction, capital operation, etc., build a smart zero-carbon demonstration port, promote offshore wind power demonstration projects, jointly build a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system, form an industry demonstration effect and a model of innovative cooperation, and drive the green and high-quality development of enterprises.
