CPID Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Longgang Government of Shenzhen

On April 21, 2023, Mr. He Xi, Chief Engineer (New Energy) of SPIC and Chairman of CPID, witnessed the signing of the framework and cooperation agreements between CPID and Longgang Government and between CPID and Shenzhen Longgang Industrial Investment Services Group Co., Ltd., with Mr. Zhang Liwei, Secretary of Longgang District Party Committee, and Mr. Wang Cefei, Deputy Secretary of Longgang District Party Committee and Mayor of Longgang District, at the office building of Longgang Government. Mr. Zhao Yonggang, Vice President of CPID; Ms. Ping Yuan, Deputy Mayor of Longgang District; and Mr. Ding Bo, Chairman of Shenzhen Longgang Industrial Investment Services Group Co., Ltd. attended the signing ceremony.

Mr. He Xi first expressed his gratitude to the government of Longgang District for its great support, and briefly introduced CPID's development and strategic layout, focusing on the achievements made by CPID in actively implementing China's "3060" target, fulfilling the responsibilities of a state-owned enterprise directly under the Central Government, and accelerating the development of emerging green energy industries and the innovation-driven development. He said that CPID would give full play to its advantages in human resources, funds, technology, management and operation, to boost all-around, strategic cooperation with the government of Longgang District in colorful PV, green electric transportation, PEDF, virtual power plant (VPP), new types of energy storage, etc.

Mr. Zhang Liwei expressed his gratitude to CPID for its care and support for the development of Longgang District, and presented the basic information about Longgang District in terms of attracting investment and innovation-driven development. The execution of the framework and cooperation agreements marked a new stage of cooperation between the two sides. Mr. Zhang Liwei said that the government of Longgang District would take CPID as a long-term, stable and important strategic partner, spare no effort to facilitate the matters contemplated under the agreement, and provide support from industrial planning, company operation, supporting policies and coordination, thus creating a good environment for the investment and development of CPID in Longgang District.

The agreement implies deep cooperation between CPID and Longgang District around the "3060" target, the building of a new power system, and other important strategies of China. In particular, both sides will work closely on technological innovation in integrated smart energy, technological innovation in high-end manufacturing, application scenarios of colorful PV, establishment of green low-carbon mechanisms, building of green electric transportation system, etc. Also, the two sides will implement PEDF, VPP, and integrated smart zero-carbon power plant projects, and establish city-level green electric transportation network, with a view to creating a demonstration zone for new power system.
