Mr. He Xi Meets with Mr. Cao Huiquan, Secretary of Zhuzhou Municipal Party Committee

On May 13, 2023, Mr. He Xi, Chairman of CPID and Chief Engineer (New Energy) of SPIC, met with Mr. Cao Huiquan, Secretary of Zhuzhou Municipal Party Committee, at Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province, and both sides had in-depth exchanges on new energy development and the development of green energy emerging industries. Mr. Wang Wei'an, Member of the Standing Committee of Zhuzhou Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor of Zhuzhou City, attended the meeting.

Mr. He expressed his gratitude to Zhuzhou Municipal Party Committee and Zhuzhou Municipal Government for their warm reception, and introduced in detail CPID's achievements in accelerating green and low-carbon energy transition and innovation-driven development by actively implementing China's carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, as well as CPID's plan for the future. Mr. He said that CPID attaches great importance to investment and development in Hunan Province, that CPID is making comprehensive efforts in the main track of clean energy and actively cultivating new tracks of green energy emerging industries, and that these are highly compatible with the development direction of Zhuzhou Municipal Government to speed up the construction of modernized smart green energy internet, and both sides have broad cooperation space in the fields of integrated smart energy, "three-new" industries, energy storage and smart micro-grid, etc. Mr. He hoped that both sides would strengthen communication and deepen cooperation, promote the upgrading of Zhuzhou City's industrial structure and achieve mutual benefits and win-win development.

Mr. Cao welcomed Mr. He and his delegation and introduced the history and culture, transition and development of Zhuzhou City, as well as the wind power, PV power, pumped storage and smart energy internet projects in Zhuzhou City. Mr. Cao expressed that Zhuzhou City is in urgent need of building a green, safe and efficient energy system to implement the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals and promote high-quality development. Mr. Cao hoped that CPID, as a flagship subsidiary of SPIC, an enterprise directly under the central government and a foreign-capital enterprise, could play its advantages in terms of platform, capital and talents to jointly explore the road of comprehensive energy reform and green and low-carbon development, and fully promote Zhuzhou's high-quality development.
