SPIC Hubei Company Signs Cooperation Agreement on New Energy Projects with Ezhou Municipal Development and Reform Commission and Jiangsu Linyang Energy Co., Ltd.

On May 28th, 2023, SPIC Hubei Company signed a cooperation agreement on new energy projects with Ezhou Municipal Development and Reform Commission and Jiangsu Linyang Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Linyang"). Mr. Sun Bing, Secretary of Ezhou Municipal Party Committee, Mr. Wang Xiwei, Deputy Secretary of Ezhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Ezhou City, Mr. Yu Ke, Member of Standing Committee of Ezhou Municipal Party Committee and Executive Deputy Mayor of Ezhou City, Mr. Deng Yong, GM of SPIC Hubei Company, Mr. Li Lixin, Deputy Supervisor of SPIC Hubei Company, Mr. Pei Jun, Senior Vice President of Linyang, Mr. Shi Hongsheng, Chairman of Linyang Yiwei Energy Storage Co., Ltd., and Ms. Wang Cuiyu, Chairman of Hubei Branch of Linyang, attended and witnessed the signing ceremony.

Before the signing ceremony, the three parties had an in-depth communication on Ezhou's development layout, new energy project development, industrial development, technological innovation and other aspects. Mr. Sun, on behalf of Ezhou Municipal Party Committee and Government, expressed his welcome to Mr. Deng, Mr. Pei and their delegations, and introduced Ezhou's overall development layout and development plan for new energy and lithium materials. Mr. Sun said that Ezhou would continue to build an international first-class market-oriented and law-governed business environment, willing to be a gold medal "shopkeeper", in creating a better business end investment environment for SPIC Hubei Company and Linyang, and work hand in hand with SPIC Hubei Company and Linyang, to seek common development, move in the same direction and win the future together.

Mr. Deng expressed his gratitude for the welcome and trust of Ezhou Municipal Party Committee and Government, and introduced SPIC's core values of "green development, innovation, integration, true faith, true work and true success" and the development situation of SPIC Hubei Company. Mr. Deng said that SPIC Hubei Company would give full play to its advantages, join hands with Linyang to push the development of new energy industry in Ezhou City to a new height, and continue to contribute to the economic and social development of Ezhou City. Mr. Pei introduced the main business segments and future corporate development of Linyang, and said that Linyang would work closely with SPIC Hubei Company to provide better quality products and comprehensive services to help Ezhou City's high-quality development. In the presence of Mr. Sun, Mr. Wang, Mr. Deng and Mr. Pei, the three parties signed a cooperation agreement on new energy projects. The Secretary-General of Ezhou Municipal Government, the heads of Ezhou Development and Reform Commission, Ezhou Business Bureau (Investment Promotion Bureau) and Echeng District Committee and relevant departments, the heads of the General Affairs Department and PV Power Department of SPIC Hubei Company, and the vice chairman and deputy general manager of Hubei Branch of Linyang attended the talks and witnessed the signing ceremony.
