Mr. He Xi Meets Mr. Xu Qiang, CPC Secretary of Haishu District

On June 14, 2023, Mr. He Xi, Chief Engineer (New Energy) of SPIC and Chairman of CPID, met with Mr. Xu Qiang, CPC Secretary of Haishu District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, and his delegation at the headquarters in Beijing. Both sides had in-depth exchanges on financing and investment platform, integrated smart zero-carbon power plant, and green power and green certificate trading. Mr. Wu Min, Standing Committee Member of Haishu District Party Committee and Deputy Governor of Haishu District, Mr. Gao Ping, Executive Director and President of CPID, Mr. Shou Rufeng, Vice President of CPID, and Mr. Zhao Yonggang, Vice President of CPID, attended the meeting.

Mr. He welcomed Mr. Xu and his delegation, and expressed his gratitude to Haishu District for its continuous support to CPID. Mr. He highlighted CPID's remarkable achievements in actively implementing China's carbon peaking and carbon neutrality strategy, accelerating green and low-carbon transition and innovation-driven development, and introduced CPID's achievements in new industries and future layout direction.

Mr. He pointed out that Haishu District and CPID have a deep cooperation foundation, and CPID will actively dovetail with local financial, industrial and energy needs, innovate investment and cooperation models, further explore exchanges and cooperation in three-net integration, fund platforms and industrial park construction, and support local quality development, hoping that Haishu District Government will continue to increase support for CPID, coordinate local advantageous resources and accelerate project implementation.

Mr. Xu expressed his gratitude to CPID for its contribution to the economic construction of Haishu District and the aggregation of users for the integrated smart zero-carbon power plant in Haishu District. Mr. Xu said that the plant is a key project that the Haishu District Government is fully promoting, and hoped that both sides will work together to accelerate the progress of the project and realize the planned peak capacity as soon as possible. Mr. Xu expressed that the Haishu District Government will support CPID in terms of policy subsidies, tax incentives and new energy project development, and hoped that CPID and Haishu District will further cooperate in the fields of green certificate and green power trading, financing and investment platform, three-net integration and industrial park construction, so as to fully promote the high-speed and quality development of Haishu District.

Both sides also exchanged views on energy storage power stations, competitive power sales, solar energy storage and flexible DC power transmission.

The meeting was attended by the heads of Haishu District Government Office, Financial Development Service Center and Investment Promotion Center, and the heads of Strategic Planning Department, Capital Operation Department, Development Department and Marketing and Fuel Management Center of CPID.
