Wuling Power Generation Company Puts Many Projects into Operation
Recently, Wuling Power Generation Company has put into operation a number of projects with a cumulative installed capacity of more than 500 MW in the first half of 2023, covering hydropower, PV power and wind power generation, energy storage, integrated smart energy and other emerging green energy industries.
In the energy storage segment, the Shujiatang energy storage power station and the Baidishi energy storage power station in Hunan Province were put into operation, each station with a capacity of 100 MW/200 MWh and equipped with lithium iron phosphate batteries and power conversion systems.
In the integrated smart energy segment, the integrated smart energy project located in Shuangpai Industrial Development Zone, Hunan Province was completed and connected to the grid. The project adopts various operation modes such as self-consumption, residual power to grid and full power to grid, equipped with charging piles, PV carport and other integrated smart energy equipment, with an average annual power generation of 6,336.8 MWh. The Yuhuan 1.2 MW rooftop PV power project in Zhejiang Province was successfully connected to the grid, bringing the cumulative capacity of the Yuhuan Ganjiang integrated smart energy project to 7.3 MW.
In the clean energy segment, the first phase of the Daguping wind power project in Hunan Province was put into operation, with an installed capacity of 50 MW and a designed annual feed-in energy of 102.7 GWh. The Jiushi PV power project in Xinping County, Yunnan Province was put into operation, with a total installed capacity of 25 MW on the DC side. In addition, the expansion project of Wuqiangxi Hydropower Station has a planned installed capacity of 500 MW and has completed the stator lifting of Unit 6, and it is expected that the total installed capacity of Wuqiangxi Hydropower Station will reach 1,700 MW by the end of 2023.
