CPID Signs Cooperation Agreement with Yucatán State Government
On July 17, 2023, Mr. He Xi, Chief Engineer (New Energy) of SPIC and Chairman of CPID, met with Mr. Mauricio Vila Dosal, Governor of Yucatán State of Mexico and his delegation at CPID headquarters and both sides signed a cooperation agreement.

Mr. He Xi welcomed Governor Mauricio, thanked the Yucatán State Government for its strong support for Zuma Energía's business development, and introduced in detail the overall situation of CPID, especially its experience and advantages in PV power, wind power, PV power + new agriculture, PV power + building materials, energy storage industry, green and smart transportation, and internationalization development. Mr. He said that CPID has accumulated good practical experience in green and low-carbon smart city construction, and the energy solution for smart city fits the concept of green and low-carbon and environmental protection development put forward by the Yucatán State Government, and that CPID will actively play its advantages in capital operation, industrial upgrading, leading technology, abundant talents, etc., and comprehensively help the Yucatán State Government in energy transition, upgrading and security.
Governor Mauricio thanked CPID for the reception, appreciated CPID's achievements in renewable energy construction and CPID's industrial development planning and deployment, and highly praised Zuma Energía's outstanding contributions to Mexico's energy development. Noting that the state of Yucatán has a stable society, rapid economic development, abundant wind and solar resources, and a perfect rule of law, Governor Mauricio looked forward to CPID's investment in the state of Yucatán as soon as possible.
In the presence of the delegates, Mr. Shou signed the Memorandum of Understanding with the Yucatán State Government on behalf of CPID. Both sides will strengthen communication and cooperation, and the Yucatán State Government will strongly support Zuma Energía's development in policy and permitting, and help Zuma Energía accelerate the development of existing projects.
The state of Yucatán is located on the Yucatán Peninsula in southeastern Mexico, bordering the Gulf of Mexico, and is one of Mexico's major tourist attractions.

The Mérida Zero Carbon Smart City Project includes the development of green energy and green electric transportation.
