CPID Signs Investment Agreements with Qinglong County Government and Anbao Energy Group

On July 20, 2023, Mr. He Xi, Chief Engineer (New Energy) of SPIC and Chairman of CPID, met with Mr. Duan Peng, CPC Secretary of Qinglong County, Guizhou Province, Mr. Zhao Minghua, Chairman of Anbao Energy Group, and their delegation at CPID headquarters, and the parties had in-depth interaction and exchange of views on the investment in two joint ventures in Guizhou Province and witnessed the signing of the Cooperation Agreement on Investment in Coal Power and New Energy Joint Venture between CPID and Qinglong County Government, and the signing of the Agreement on Anbao Coal Mine Share Transfer between CPID and Anbao Energy Group and Sanhe Dekang Enterprise Management Limited (Sanhe Dekang). Mr. Shou Rufeng, Vice President of CPID, and Mr. Lv Keqi, Vice President of CPID, attended the meeting and signed the agreement on behalf of CPID.

Mr. He welcomed the guests and briefly introduced the development overview and strategic layout of CPID, focusing on CPID's active fulfillment of "building a new power system with new energy as the mainstay", its continuous efforts in coal and power joint ventures, clean energy development and new industry development in recent years, and its achievements in accelerating the implementation of emerging green energy industries and innovation-driven development. Mr. He emphasized that Qinglong County Government, Anbao Energy Group and Sanhe Dekang are the important partners of CPID in Guizhou region, and the parties have been carrying out all-round cooperation in coal supply, resource allocation and project coordination for a long time. Mr. He said that CPID will make full use of its own financial and professional advantages, and work with the parties to build a "coal and power joint venture model" project in Guizhou Province, promote the construction of integrated "coal power + new energy" bases, and realize CPID’s sustainable high-quality development.

Mr. Duan expressed his gratitude to CPID for the warm welcome and appreciation of CPID's development achievements, highly appreciated the outstanding contributions of Pu'an Power Generation Company and Anbao Energy Group to the socio-economic development of Qinglong County in the past cooperation, and welcomed CPID to further increase its investment in Qinglong County to deeply explore the local coal and wind resources and realize win-win cooperation.

Under the joint witness of the representatives, Mr. Lv, and Mr. Wang Jikai, Vice Governor of Qinglong County, signed the Cooperation Agreement on Investment in Coal Power and New Energy Joint Ventureon behalf of CPID and Qinglong County Government, respectively. Mr. Shou, Mr. Zhao, Mr. Zhang Ying, Legal Representative and Executive Director of Sanhe Dekang, and Mr. Guo Feng, General Manager of Pu'an Power Generation Company, signed the Agreement on Anbao Coal Mine Share Transfer on behalf of CPID, Anbao Energy Group, Anbao Coal Mine, Triad Power, and Guo Feng, General Manager of Pu'an Power Generation, on behalf of CPID, Anbao Energy, Anbao Coal Mine, Sanhe Dekang and Pu'an Power Generation Company, respectively.

The meeting was attended by the heads of Accounting and Finance Department, Capital Operation Department, Development Department, Marketing and Fuel Management Center of CPID and Pu'an Power Generation Company.
