Mr. He Xi Meets Mr. Zhong Xudong, Secretary of Pinghu Municipal Party Committee

On July 21, 2023, Mr. He Xi, Chief Engineer (New Energy) of SPIC and Chairman of CPID, met with Mr. Zhong Xudong, Secretary of Pinghu Municipal Party Committee, Zhejiang Province, and his delegation at CPID headquarters, and both sides had in-depth exchanges on cooperation in energy and industry. Mr. Wang Dongrong, Vice President of CPID, attended the meeting.

Mr. He welcomed Mr. Zhong and his delegation and briefly introduced the development overview and strategic layout of CPID, focusing on CPID's active fulfillment of "building a new power system with new energy as the mainstay" and the advantages accumulated on the main track of clean energy and the new tracks of emerging green energy industries. Mr. He said that the peak and valley tariff difference is large for industrial and commercial power consumption in Zhejiang Province, Pinghu City has rich industrial resources and power consumption demand, both sides have a wide space for cooperation in virtual power plants, new energy storage, color PV power and rural revitalization, and CPID will give full play to its own professional advantages, and arrange a special team to Pinghu as soon as possible to carry out in-depth field investigation and make a professional analysis report, so as to lay the foundation for further cooperation and exchanges between the two sides.

Mr. Zhong thanked CPID for the warm welcome, introduced the current situation of Pinghu City in terms of economy, culture, ecology, industry and policy, and the need for cooperation in the development of new types of energy storage, construction of charging and battery swap facilities, rural revitalization, etc., hoped that CPID would focus on the strategic layout in Pinghu City, and looked forward to both sides opening the road of win-win cooperation as soon as possible.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Wang Liang, Development Supervisor and General Manager of Development Department of CPID, the heads of China Power Energy Storage Development Limited and CPID Guochen DC Power Distribution Technology Co., Ltd. and CPID Zhejiang Energy Development Co., Ltd. and the heads of some municipal departments and local enterprises of Pinghu City.
