Mr. Gao Ping Meets Mr. Zhang Dong, Deputy Mayor of Wuhu City

On August 16, 2023, Mr. Gao Ping, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee and President of CPID, met with Mr. Zhang Dong, Standing Committee Member of Wuhu Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor of Wuhu City, and his delegation at Xinyuan Smart Energy Storage, and both sides discussed and exchanged views on further strategic cooperation, joint development and construction of virtual power plant and energy storage station, and other aspects. Mr. Wang Dongrong, Vice President of CPID, attended the meeting.

Mr. Gao welcomed Mr. Zhang and his delegation, and said that Wuhu City, as the sub center of Anhui Province and one of the ten clusters of the "west-based data computing" projects, has a strong momentum of development, and that CPID would continue to give full play to its technological, industrial and market advantages in the field of new energy, and strengthen its cooperation with Wuhu City in order to build China's first pilot virtual power plant at the municipal level, open up a new field and a new race track, and help the implementation of China's carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals.

Mr. Zhang expressed his appreciation for the practical achievements made by CPID in implementing China's carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, practicing green and low-carbon transition and development, and rural revitalization, etc. Mr Zhang also introduced the situation of Wuhu City in recent years in terms of scientific and technological innovation and the construction of virtual power plant and big data center, etc. Mr. Zhang said that Wuhu City is willing to deepen cooperation with CPID in virtual power plant construction, smart energy project development, rural revitalization and other aspects for win-win situation, and welcome CPID to develop color PV power, eco-agriculture and other advanced industries in Wuhu City, and that Wuhu City would support the development of emerging industries in Wuhu with the most favorable policies in Anhui Province.

Before the symposium, Mr. Gao and Mr. Zhang visited the production line and finished product area of Xinyuan Smart Energy Storage.
