Mr. Gao Ping Meets Mr. Shen Qun, Chairman of NTC

On September 12, 2023, Mr. Gao Ping, Executive Director and President of CPID, met with Mr. Shen Qun, Chairman of Nanjing Turbine & Electric Machinery (Group) Co., Ltd. (NTC), and Mr. Huang Jie, General Manager of Sales, GE China, and their delegation at CPID headquarters.

Mr. Gao welcomed Mr. Shen, Mr. Huang and their delegation, and introduced CPID's development achievements and strategic layout, focusing on CPID's active practice of building a new power system with new energy as the mainstay, as well as CPID's advantages in the traditional energy industry and the main track of clean energy. Mr. Gao said that as the backbone of China's national energy strategy, CPID has been actively promoting the development of the clean energy industry and contributed its wisdom and strength to the realization of the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, and hoped to further strengthen communication and cooperation with NTC in technological innovation, business model innovation and other aspects for mutual benefit and win-win situation.

Mr. Shen expressed his appreciation for CPID's development achievements in the field of clean energy, and introduced NTC's business layout and NTC's cooperation history with GE. Mr. Shen said that NTC is highly compatible with CPID in the development of new energy industry and integrated energy utilization, and hoped that NTC would further cooperate with CPID and provide services for CPID in the green and low-carbon transition based on the existing good cooperation with the help of the advantages of equipment manufacturing.

The meeting was attended by the heads of the Development Department, Thermal Power Department, New Energy Department, Science and Innovation Center, Jiangmen Integrated Energy Company of CPID.
