Qiyuan Core Power Has Built a Charging and Battery Swap Network in Tangshan

On September 12, 2023, Qiyuan Core Power Co., Ltd. (Qiyuan Core Power), the green electric transportation segment of CPID, completed the construction of the No. 1 and No. 2 charging stations on Haiyi Road in Tangshan. These stations mark the commercial operation of Line No. 1 (from Qian'an to Jingtang Port), and together with the operating Line No.3 (from Zunhua to Caofeidian), formed a 460 km long U-shaped charging and battery swap network of Qiyuan Core Power in Tangshan. The network is China's first and longest battery swap network for heavy-duty trucks.

Line No.1 is about 125 km long and provides fast and convenient charging and battery swap services for heavy-duty electric trucks traveling between Qian'an and Jingtang Port. The first phase of Line No.1 includes 4 service stations, 9 charging and battery swap stations and 16 charging piles. Truck drivers can have their trucks fully charged in 3-5 minutes by scanning the QR code with their mobile phones. The smart charging and battery swap facilities are integrated with battery banks and digital cloud platforms to provide truck fleets with efficient and convenient charging and battery swap operation and management services.

Qiyuan Core Power has built and is building more than 60 stations in Tangshan, forming a 460 km long charging and battery swap network and serving more than 7,000 heavy-duty trucks. Under standard working conditions (based on fuel consumption of 0.45 L/km, average daily travel of 300 km and annual operation of 320 days), it is expected to reduce the consumption of fuel oil by 250,000 tons, which is equivalent to the reduction of 790,000 tons of CO2 emissions.

Up to now, Qiyuan Core Power has cooperated with ecological partners to lay out more than 400 charging and battery stations in China, and established long-distance charging and battery swap networks in many provinces and cities, such as Inner Mongolia, Sichuan, Chongqing, Ningxia, Shanxi, Xinjiang, Guangxi, and so on. In the future, Qiyuan Core Power will continue to further build charging and battery swap networks in Tangshan and other places, improve the layout density of charging and battery swap stations, and connect with the stations in neighboring cities to form intercity green transportation corridors.
