CPID Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Beidaihe New District Management Committee

On October 11, 2023, Mr. Wang Xi, Secretary of Qinhuangdao Municipal Party Committee, and his delegation visited CPID's headquarters for discussion and exchange, and a strategic cooperation agreement was signed to further deepen the cooperation between central enterprises and local governments and realize mutual benefit and win-win situation.

During the exchange, the CPID side introduced its achievements in energy storage, color PV power, geothermal power, new energy + agriculture and other fields, and expressed that Qinhuangdao City has outstanding location advantages, rich new energy resource endowment, huge development potential and vast space for cooperation between both sides. The CPID side hoped that both sides will further strengthen communication and dovetailing, deepen multi-disciplinary and in-depth practical cooperation, and actively promote the implementation of more cooperation projects, to achieve mutual benefit and win-win situation and help the local economy develop in high quality.

Qinhuangdao Municipal Party Committee and Government thanked CPID for its long-term care and support, expressed that CPID's development direction is highly compatible with Qinhuangdao's industrial development orientation, hoped that both sides will strengthen dovetailing and communication and work hard to promote more pragmatic cooperation, and stated that Qinhuangdao City will continue to optimize the business environment so that enterprises can invest and develop with confidence.

At the meeting, CPID signed an agreement on investment in new energy projects with Beidaihe New District Management Committee.

In the signing of the agreement, both sides adhered to the principle of "diversified complementation, pragmatic and efficient work, innovative mode and comprehensive promotion" and focused on the offshore wind power, integrated smart energy, timely assistance action and other elements, to further optimize the approach to strategic cooperation, strengthen the innovation of cooperation models, and jointly promote the green and low-carbon development of energy and power.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Chen Yuguo, Member of the Standing Committee and Secretary General of the CPC Qinhuangdao Municipal Committee, the leaders of the Development and Reform Commission, Bureau of Foreign Affairs and Commerce, Beidaihe New District Management Committee and Changli County of Qinhuangdao City, the related leaders of CPID, and the heads of the Development Department, China Power Integrated Smart Energy, XYZ Storage Technology, Xinyuan Jinwu and Xinyuan Taili of CPID.
