Mr. Gao Ping Meets with Mr. Xing Zhengjun, Mayor of Lianyungang City

On November 14, 2023, Mr. Gao Ping, President of China Power, and his delegation visited Lianyungang City and met with Mr. Xing Zhengjun, Mayor of Lianyungang City. Both sides had exchanges and discussions on deepening locality-enterprise cooperation, developing green energy, promoting industrial integration, etc.

During the discussion, Mr. Gao expressed his gratitude to the Lianyungang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government for supporting China Power's development in Lianyungang, and introduced China Power's development overview and strategic layout, focusing on China Power's unique advantages in clean energy development and scientific and technological innovation in emerging industries. Mr. Gao hoped that both sides will strengthen cooperation in the fields of new energy development, emerging industries and integrated smart energy to realize mutual benefits, win-win situation and common development.

Mr. Xing welcomed Mr. Gao and his delegation and briefly introduced the basic situation and unique advantages of Lianyungang City in terms of geographical location and industrial development. Mr. Xing said that China Power, as a Chinese central state-owned enterprise in the energy sector, has powerful capability in technology, finance, development and management, and hoped that both sides will, based on their respective advantages, expand cooperation and jointly promote clean energy and modernization of energy management, so as to achieve a multi-win situation of environmental benefits, economic benefits and social benefits.
