China Power and Wuhu Government Conduct Talks and Exchanges

On April 16, 2024, Mr. He Xi, Chairman of China Power, and his delegation visited Wuhu City, Anhui Province to meet with Mr. Ning Bo, Secretary of Wuhu Municipal Party Committee. Both sides had in-depth discussions on the progress of the strategic cooperation agreement and the construction of supporting power sources for thermal power.

Mr. He expressed his gratitude for the long-term support and assistance from the Wuhu Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, and briefly introduced the latest industrial layout of China Power. Mr. He said that Wuhu City has a favorable business environment and strong development momentum, and the strategic planning of both sides is highly compatible and has a broad cooperation prospect, hoping that both sides would make full use of their respective advantages to jointly promote the integration of source-grid-load-storage projects, and the construction of supporting power sources for thermal power, and provide high-quality assurance for the power security in Anhui Province through the "Mongolian Power Entering Anhui" initiative.

The Wuhu Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government expressed that at present, Wuhu City is actively embracing the national strategy of the channel computing resources from the east to the west, accelerating the construction of the Wuhu data center cluster, promoting new breakthroughs in invitation for investment. A number of high-quality digital economy projects have settled in Wuhu, and the demand for green energy is strong. China Power has rich experience and unique advantages in the field of green and low-carbon energy. It has a wide layout in strategic emerging industries and rich application scenarios, and has already achieved several strategic cooperation with Wuhu.
