Unit 6 of Changshu Power Plant Achieves 200 Days of Continuous Safe Operation

As of 7:00 am on June 2, 2024, Unit 6 of Jiangsu Changshu Electric Power Generating Company Limited (“Changshu Power Plant”) has achieved 200 consecutive days of safe operation. This marks the fourth time in 2024 that a unit of Changshu Power Plant has reached 100 consecutive days of safe operation.

Changshu Power Plant strictly adheres to China Power's safety management requirements. Each production department meticulously plans and enhances full-process risk control management. They implement refined management across all production stages, from maintenance to operation, to ensure safe and orderly production. Operating personnel strengthen unit inspections, fully ensuring the reliability and stability of the equipment. Unit 6 has successfully completed major tasks such as winter peaking, Spring Festival power supply guarantee, and power supply for the NPC & CPPCC sessions. It has repeatedly completed deep peaking and maximum output assessment tasks and was rated as a "benchmark unit" for its outstanding energy consumption and reliability indicators among GW-size coal-fired units in Jiangsu Province for 2023.
