Xinyuan Zhonghui Zhoukoudian Town's First PEDF Project Connected to Grid
Recently, Xinyuan Zhonghui successfully connected the distributed PV power project in Zhoukoudian Town, Fangshan District, to the grid. This project is China Power's first Photovoltaic, Energy Storage, Direct Current and Flexibility ("PEDF") demonstration project in Fangshan District and the first Xinyuan Zhonghui project connected to the grid in the district.
Developed independently by Xinyuan Zhonghui, the project has an installed capacity of 161.16 kW and includes 30 kW/60 kWh energy storage equipment. The project uses rooftop, wall surfaces, carports, and cultural display boards to implement PEDF and Colorful Microlayer Technology ("CMT"), creating a comprehensive smart energy system integrating distributed PV power, DC microgrids, user-side energy storage, DC loads (charging piles), and PV power plazas. The system enables multi-energy complementarity on the power generation side and flexible interaction on the load side. The project will generate an average of 177 MWh annually, saving 58 tons of standard coal and reducing CO2 emissions by about 176 tons.
