China Power Xiejiaji Phase II 30 MW Fishery-Solar Hybrid Project Fully Connected to the Grid

On August 31, 2024, China Power Xiejiaji Phase II 30 MW Fishery-Solar Hybrid Project of Pingwei Power Generation Company achieved full capacity grid connection. The combined PV capacity of China Power Xiejiaji Phases I and II projects has reached 100 MW, further showcasing China Power's role in promoting local green development.

Located in Tangshan Town, Xiejiaji District, Huainan City, Anhui Province, the Phase II project adopts a fishery-solar hybrid model. It is expected to generate approximately 42.9 GWh annually, saving around 13,700 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 34,900 tons each year, yielding significant economic, environmental, and social benefits.

The Phase I 70 MW Fishery-Solar Hybrid project was completed and connected to the grid in 2017, winning multiple awards, including the National Installation Engineering Excellence Award and the China Power Quality Engineering Award. It has generated a cumulative 720 GWh of electricity. In the benchmark selection over the years, it has obtained the title of 3A grade superior PV power station once, 4A grade twice and 5A grade twice in the power industry.
