XYZ Storage's Supramolecular Immersion Cooling Technology Sets New Benchmark for Energy Storage Safety – Battery Safety Technology Exchange Seminar Concludes Successfully in Beijing

On June 27, 2025, the Supramolecular Immersion-Cooled Battery Pack Thermal Runaway Suppression Test Live Demonstration and Battery Safety Technology Exchange Seminar successfully concluded in Beijing. Witnessed by over 100 top experts, scholars, and industry representatives, XYZ Storage demonstrated its supramolecular immersion-cooled battery pack thermal runaway suppression test for the first time. A striking side-by-side comparison of immersion-cooled versus conventional battery packs under real-world conditions showcased immersion cooling system's exceptional safety performance under extreme overcharge conditions, challenging the industry's prevailing belief that lithium-ion battery thermal runaway is inevitable.

The event was co-hosted by XYZ Storage and Key Laboratory of Electrochemical Energy Safety, Ministry of Emergency Management. Attendees included officials from Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, Fangshan District Party Committee and Government, Fangshan District Development and Reform Commission, Zhongguancun Fangshan Industrial Park Administrative Committee, and Fire Rescue Brigade. Representatives were also present from research institutions like Tsinghua University, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing Jiaotong University, and Tianjin Fire Research Institute, as well as key partners such as China Energy Storage Alliance (CNESA), CNOOC, Sinopec, China Mobile, China Telecom, China Tower, and overseas client representatives from Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia. Participants highly praised the supramolecular immersion cooling technology, unanimously recognizing its potential to completely resolve the industry-wide challenge of thermal runaway in energy storage. It is poised to provide robust technical support for building Beijing's demonstration zone for new energy storage power station applications and for the large-scale deployment of new energy storage systems during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period.
