China Power Commissions Its First Mountainous Wind Project in Anhui
At 17:31 on August 20, 2025, Guangang Wind Farm, China Power's first mountainous wind project in Anhui, successfully achieved grid connection in Chizhou, Anhui.

The first phase of the project has a planned capacity of 50.04 MW, comprising nine 5.56 MW wind turbines, two 35 kV power collection lines, one 110 kV step-up substation, and transmission lines. Upon full-capacity grid connection, it is expected to feed approximately 100 GWh of electricity into the grid annually, saving about 32,000 tons of standard coal, and reducing emissions of smoke dust by approximately 3.3 tons, CO2 by about 87,000 tons, SO2 by about 16.6 tons, and NOx by about 18.6 tons each year. Furthermore, the project's implementation is organically integrated into the development plan of Dongzhi County, further boosting rural revitalization and benefiting the local ecology, economy, and society.
China Power attached high importance to this project, establishing a dedicated team stationed on-site to promote and coordinate the construction progress, manage safety and quality, and work closely with interested parties to resolve challenges and difficulties related to forest land use and transportation. At 20:58 on August 18, 2025, the step-up substation successfully achieved back energization on the first attempt. After two days of commissioning, the first wind turbine (F03) was successfully connected to the grid at 17:31 on August 20, 2025.
