China Power's MSCI ESG Rating Upgraded to 'A'

Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI), a globally recognized index provider, recently announced its 2025 ESG rating results, upgrading China Power from "BBB" to "A"—the highest ESG rating achieved by any Chinese power generation central SOE under this system. This marks the second consecutive year of improvement, underscoring China Power's outstanding performance in clean energy transition, corporate governance, and social responsibility.

In recent years, China Power has actively advanced ESG initiatives, drawing on international best practices and embedding ESG into every aspect of its operations. This integrated approach has driven synergistic progress and value creation across the environmental, social, and governance dimensions.
