China Power Dabieshan's New Energy Stations Secure Top Ranking in Hubei Province for March Generating Hours

China Power Dabieshan's new energy stations achieved the top ranking among all power generation groups in Hubei Province for equivalent generating hours in March 2026, according to recent benchmarking assessment results released by Hubei's power generation industry.

Despite power grid constraints and challenging generation conditions, the company maintained an unwavering focus on operational excellence. To maximize output, the team regularly evaluated the accuracy of power generation forecasting, and implemented targeted system upgrades at underperforming sites to enhance precision and minimize power losses. Furthermore, the company strengthened collaboration with the provincial power dispatch center and optimized busbar voltage ranges to avoid assessment penalties for voltage qualification rates. Inspection frequency of collector lines was increased to eliminate equipment risks and ensure reliable operation of high-voltage facilities. Maintenance schedules were strategically optimized to minimize unnecessary shutdowns, with defect elimination performed during off-peak night hours to minimize generation disruption. Furthermore, the company conducted comprehensive operational diagnostics across four new energy stations through evaluation, diagnosis, and rectification, adopting targeted measures to improve generation efficiency. The company also accelerated the construction of smart power stations, completing upgrades to photovoltaic power forecasting systems, primary frequency regulation systems, and minimally manned operations at the Tiemengang PV Power Station. Digital and intelligent technologies are enabling refined O&M and driving sustained operational improvement.

Additionally, the company expanded its power market footprint, closely tracking power supply and demand dynamics in neighboring provinces and coordinating energy transactions both within and beyond Hubei. In March, the power curtailment rate was reduced by 2.13%, further strengthening profitability.
