SPIC Beijing Electric Power’s Innovation Granted National Invention Patent

Recently, “An Intelligent Suspended Transport Tool for Photovoltaic Inverters,” filed by the Taiping Maintenance Center Station of Tianjin Power Company affiliated to SPIC Beijing Electric Power, was granted authorization as a national invention patent.

The agrivoltaic photovoltaic power station under the maintenance center station’s jurisdiction had long faced challenges such as complex operation and maintenance conditions, poor working environments, and a lack of special tools. To address these difficulties, the station relied on its innovation studio platform, identified issues based on on-site operating conditions, and focused its technical innovation on the challenges of equipment transportation in wetland environments. After multiple rounds of improvement and field verification, the station successfully developed a specialized technology suitable for complex operating conditions which had passed the national invention patent review. The application of this patent fundamentally avoids safety risks associated with manual operations, significantly improves operation and maintenance quality and efficiency, and enhances intrinsic safety.
